Thanks for taking the time to familiarize yourself with our editing process. The really hard work is behind us, but we've still got plenty to do to get your text into the best shape possible.
1. Please leave comments, not edits.
You don’t have to rewrite our texts or fix our grammar. (That’s our job, and we’re pros.) Instead, leave comments in the margins if something doesn’t sound right or is problematic. This is super easy with Google docs. You just highlight the text you want to comment on and insert a comment like in the graphic below. We’ll get a notification from Google. If you don’t want to use Google docs, you can do the same with Word docs.

2. Please only give approval on a text when everyone on your team has had the chance to look it over.
We give you two revisions. That means that you have two chances to give your feedback and get the professional edits you paid for. Take full advantage of this service by making sure anyone who needs to review our texts gets the chance to do so before you send a text back.
3. You can speed up the process.
We recommend sharing our content with your web development team before the final texts are approved because our texts include important design and layout suggestions your designers can use to start laying out the pages of your website.
Once the texts have been approved, the developers will upload the updated content onto their content management system.
